It is soap-free, alcohol-free, and is formulated without irritating microbeads, leaving skin soft, clean and refreshed. Effaclar Micro-Peeling Purifying Gel is formulated with 2% salicylic acid, a BHA (beta-hydroxy acid) that has a keratolytic action, helping to lift dead skin cells off the surface of the skin to unclog pores, LHA (lipo-hydroxy acid), a very gentle exfoliant with a pH of 5.5, which makes it very well-tolerated by the skin and less irritating, and zinc, to help reduce sebum production and purify the skin.

How to apply Effaclar Micro-Peeling Purifying Gel for oily and acne-prone skin:
- STEP 1: Wet the area of concern with lukewarm water.
- STEP 2: Apply a small amount of Effaclar Micro-Peeling Gel Cleanser on wet skin. It can be used on the face, body, chest, back, and scalp.
- STEP 3: Gently massage the skin to form a rich lather. Work in circular strokes.
- STEP 4: Rinse off with cool water to help tighten pores. Gently pat dry. Can be used in the morning and/or evening.
