Product Reviews
Anthelios XL Melt-In Cream is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Balls-up/ Pills I was very excited to try this product as it contains a very promising combination of physical (inorganic) and chemical (organic) UV filters. Unfortunately, it has an awful consistency, unlike other La Roche Posay sunscreens that I've used and loved. I'm an experienced sunscreen user and even I could not make this product work. I tried this with different moistures underneath. I tried it by itself, without moisturizer. I tried applying the lightest amount (less than the recommended dose). I even tried applying it in thin layers. Nothing worked. The product still balled-up within the first 3 minutes of application. Because this product pills, I cannot properly attest to its efficacy in providing adequate sun protection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok product I wore this product every day for a week at the end of August, applied it in the morning sometimes after my moisturizer, other times by itself before my BB cream and lastly tried it by itself with no other pre or post product. My skin is very sensitive to new products but did well with this one- no redness, itchiness or any other type of reaction to it. However the melt-in cream pills, unfortunately... I was very excited to try it, and there is a chance it might perform better in the fall. It has a light scent but nothing too bad or disturbing. I'll give it another try come the cooler months and update my review. #freeproduct

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time ever using I've used skin care products from La Roche-Posay and really enjoyed using them. So when I was old I'd get the chance to try their water resistant fragrance free face and body melt in cream I was excited. As it states there is no fragrance. It literally felt like it melted into my skin, keeping my skin feeling soft. It's non greasy, which I love and protects you from UVA and UVB rays. I'm happy I got the chance to try this #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox. I definitely thnk anyone looking to try new products should give this a try. I'll definitely purchase this in the future, me and my daughter choose this over regular sunscreen protection

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pills! I absolutely love many of of LRP products and was excited to try this sunscreen. The application is pretty good, it did not sting around the eyes although you do have to work it a bit more than the lotion. Unfortunately, after a few minutes the product started to pill on my skin even though I wasn't even wearing any makeup with it. The pilling only got worst throughout the day as I reapplied the sunscreen. It does not leave too much of a white cast but did leave me a little shiny. Definitely recommend the the LRP Anthelios Ultra-Fluid lotion over this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells great. The Anthelios XL melt-in cream goes on very nice and has a light scent similar to typical sunscreens I’ve used in the past. It’s name definitely is correct, it does feel like it melts in rather than just sit on top of your skin. It adds a nice healthy looking shine on the skin. However I find it doesn’t play nice with my foundation I’m not sure if it’s an issue with silicone or water in my makeup products but the melt-in cream pills when I’m doing my makeup and doesn’t stay where I laid it down. Although this makes it not a great every day sunscreen it’s still nice on days when I’m in a rush and I skip foundation. I should also note the Anthelios XL didn’t not seem to cause breaks out. #freeproduct #trywithtopbox

Rated 2 out of 5 by from average cream I received this sunscreen and I was very happy to try it out. I tried it for a couple of days, applied it prior to stepping outside during the daytime and I wasn’t completely satisfied. The spf is 50 therefore it protects you fully but the application of this product was harder than I thought. It did not melt in through my skin and then after a while I had a white film and it started to somewhat peel off my face. It wasn’t the best that’s for sure. I’m a big fan of LarochePosay but this isn’t my favorite product. #freeproduct #trywithtopbox

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really Pills I recieved this lotion as a #freeproduct to test. I was so excited as i had heard great things of the brand and hate wearing sunscreen on my face. This sounded like the perfect option. This was not the case I tried this bareface nothing under and nothig over. I noticed a pretty good sheen on my chin and upper lip but thought it just hadn't completely absorbed. I touched my face about 15 minutes later and noticed the pilling. I had to wipe my whole face off as the feelug was awful. Really sad this didn't work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me At first I was excited to try the La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Melt-in Cream as a #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox but it quickly became a disappointment. It states that it has a non greasy texture that melts into the skin. However, I found it to be a weird combination of greasy and sticky at the same time. This product also pills on the skin, making me question its effectiveness as a SPF 50. It also states that it is fragrance free but there was definitely a light scent to it. I would not purchase this product.
